Product Description

Three of the mangoes our customers buy most, in one order. Miyazaki, Black Kasturi and Thai Sweet All Time Katimon are the varieties most often bought together at Green Glow Nursery, so we have put them into a single combo that costs less than buying the three separately and ships free.

What is in the combo
  • Miyazaki Mango: the Japanese “Egg of the Sun”, with deep crimson-red skin and intensely sweet, fibreless, aromatic flesh.
  • Black Kasturi Mango: a rare dark-skinned mango, smaller in size, with an intense fragrance and a citrus-and-spice sweetness.
  • Thai Sweet All Time Katimon: a Thai variety bred to fruit across a longer season than single-harvest mangoes, valued for its sweet, fibreless fruit.

You receive three grafted plants, one of each variety. A grafted plant carries the same genetics as its parent tree, so each one fruits true to its variety instead of the gamble of growing a mango from seed.

Why these three work together

Each brings something the others do not. Miyazaki is the showpiece, with the colour and sweetness that made it one of the most sought-after mangoes in the world. Black Kasturi is the rarity: its dark skin and strong aroma set it apart from the common Indian varieties. Katimon is the practical one, spreading its harvest over a longer window instead of one short season. Together they give you three very different mangoes from one small orchard, whether you plant them in the ground or grow them in large pots.

Growing them

All three are mangoes, so they share the same basic needs: full sun for at least 4–6 hours a day, free-draining soil and a warm spot. They suit tropical and sub-tropical conditions across most of India; in North Indian winters, young plants need shelter on cold nights. In open ground a mango tree can reach about 4–8 m, while in a large pot it stays much smaller. Water deeply but let the top of the soil dry out between waterings, and feed lightly through the growing season. Our potting mix guide, watering guide, fertiliser guide and winter care guide cover each step.
